GS Cookies Boosted Morale!

May 18, 2010

Hello, my name is Michelle Fleming, wife of SSgt William Jack Fleming, Jr. We are stationed near Dayton, Oh. I am a Key Spouse here, a volunteer group of "experienced" spouses who help encourage and support others through deployments. I came home one day and we had a very large box at our doorstep, containing over 50 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies! It boosted morale for quite a few of the wives that are here keeping the home fires burning, as well as a few families returning from and preparing for deployment. A fellow Key Spouse took a few boxes and shipped them overseas to a few single airmen.

My husband is a member of Security Forces (cops) and it is quite a large adoptive family. On behalf of all of us who shared those cookies and enjoyed the letters from the Girl Scouts, we thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
Michelle L. Fleming

Dear Christine,

It was so good to meet you in San Diego. To meet the angel who cares for our men and women in uniform. I want to thank you very specially for the lovely boutonniere, how thoughtful of you. Dan is extremely busy, it is a big responsibility.

With warmest greetings,

Micheline

I received a package a while ago, and it was so nice! A BIG thanks to the committee that does those things. It's so nice to know how much people really care. I know when the guys receive packages it makes their day! Sometimes they can feel a little forgotten, but getting any form of mail reminds them that we're all here praying for them and care about them very much. So thank you for that! :)
